Can the Clintons Return to the White House?

Hillary is running for President and if the early polls are any indication, the Clintons have an excellent shot at returning to the White House. Of course, if that happens, there will be a couple "firsts" to ponder: the first female President of the United States and the first "First Gentleman," Bill Clinton!

We at Clinton For First Gentleman.org believe it's time to get the word out and help bring back a duo that proved themselves in the 1990's.

You can help bring positive change in 2016. Research the candidates. Get the facts. Vote your conscience.

Saturday Night Live Endorses Hillary Clinton

Posted March 2, 2008

The writers at Saturday Night Live have all but endorsed Hillary Clinton in the last couple episodes.

The presidential debate parody skit was priceless — a definite must-see.

Hillary is a...

Posted February 18, 2008

In the following video, Bill Clinton makes the case for his wife as the next President of the United States.

"She is a world-class change maker. That's the main reason why you ought to be for her."

I'm particularly impressed at how deftly Bill puts hecklers in their place, so I've also included a video of a recent exchange with one of those 9/11 conspiracy nutjobs.

Hillary Finds Her Voice in New Hampshire

Posted January 9, 2008

Hillary Clinton beat Barack Obama in the New Hampshire democratic primary Tuesday.

"Over the last week, I listened to you, and in the process I found my own voice," Clinton said in a speech following the results. "Now together, let's give America the kind of comeback that New Hampshire has just given me."

The surge past Obama was largely attributed to a tremendous number of women voters showing up at the polls. Girl power!

Hillary Appears on The View

Posted October 17, 2007

Hillary Clinton made an appearance on the controversial daytime program, "The View" this week. When Whoopi Goldberg asked her what three things she'd first do after taking office, Hillary listed the following:

  1. Begin withdrawing troops from Iraq --carefully, but also expeditiously.

  2. Abandon "Cowboy Diplomacy" and start engaging world leaders again.

  3. Work with Congress on her economic agenda.

Hillary also mentioned that she'd love for her husband to continue to be the good-will ambassador to the world. The View hosts kept dancing around Bill's official title once Hillary's the next president. He'll be America's First Gentleman, girls, not the First Lady!

Be sure to watch the entire interview, available on YouTube and listed below.

Hillary Clinton Appears on David Letterman

Posted September 1, 2007

Hillary appeared on David Letterman a couple nights ago and offered her own funny Top Ten List. David brought up the idea that Bill should run for her VP...alas, that's not possible. Guess he'll just have to stick with "First Gentleman." On the upside, that means our bumper stickers won't go to waste!

Hillary Clinton's Theme Song

Posted June 20, 2007

Hillary announced the winner of her campaign song contest, and it's...well, let's just say that if you liked the Titanic soundtrack, you'll probably like this song. :)

To listen to the song and view Hillary and Bill's Soprano's spoof, visit HillaryClinton.com.

On another note, renowned movie director Stephen Spielberg has recently added himself to the list of Hillary endorsements. E.T. is on our side!

Bill Clinton: First Gentleman or First Lady?

Posted May 5th, 2007

A website domain created shortly after ours now hosts a site taking a slightly different approach in its efforts to get Hillary elected. They want Bill Clinton to dress in drag and be our nation's next First Lady.

We can't help but chuckle at the absurdity of a Clinton impersonator donning a dress; their funny take on the 2008 election can only help Hillary's cause. But we'd much rather see Bill get as far away from dresses as possible!

Obama Campaign Bullies Supporter Out of MySpace Page

Posted May 2nd, 2007

The Associated Press released a story today regarding the struggle between former(?) Barack Obama supporter Joe Anthony and the Obama campaign. According to the report, Anthony had secured the MySpace page URL and maintained the site in good faith for the last 2-1/2 years, only to have Obama's campaign bully him out of it.

The full story behind all this is available at Joe Anthony's new MySpace page or you can read the AP story here.

Eventually, the news of the MySpace hijacking spread enough to compel Barack Obama himself to contact Joe Anthony and apologize to him personally, but the strong-arm tactics of their campaign have left such a bad taste in Anthony's mouth that they may have lost one of their biggest supporters.

This is profoundly upsetting news on many levels. These kinds of tactics leave a lasting impression on supporters and it boggles the mind how the Obama campaign failed to see this coming.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but consider this: MySpace is owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. Is it possible there was another reason why they so quickly granted Obama's campaign the rights to Anthony's MySpace page? Undermining the popularity of a key democratic threat would certainly be an attractive proposition for an eccentric, ultra right-wing billionaire.

For now, it seems clear this public relations snafu is all thanks to Obama's campaign staff.

Our Latest YouTube Video

The movies "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "2010: The Year We Make Contact" both co-starred a sophisticated supercomputer known as the HAL 9000. It's iconic red eye is recognized throughout the world. But few people remember his female counterpart: the SAL 9000. She saw things in a decidedly different color...

Our Take on the Clinton/Obama "Duel"

Posted February 27th, 2007

Long ago, two newly created planets were on a collision course. Their orbits were both stable; one was slightly older than the other, yet both had formed along the same general path. If it were possible to witness this event, one would have seen a slow, gradual impact that eventually tore the outer crusts of both planets. It would have been tortuous and painful to watch --to see two great, heavenly bodies with such potential smashing into each other with awesome fury.

Thank goodness this collision occurred at all. If it had not, there would be no moon orbiting the Earth. There would be no gravitational tug influencing our ocean tides. There would be no tilt to the planet, which has provided us the four seasons. Indeed, if this collision had not been, WE would not have been.

Hillary Clinton is our Earth. She represents the stable experience we hope can be applied to the presidency beginning in 2008. For years, Hillary has inspired millions and has stood fast on issues affecting us all. Her place is in the White House, once again.

Barack Obama is our Planet Orpheus. His youth and passion have helped him garner a wide appeal and inspire hope for a better tomorrow.

Hillary and Obama supporters have been squirming as they've witnessed a media frenzy sparked by David Geffen's recent public remarks. Whether it was through outspoken supporters or inter-party skirmishes, the collision course between Clinton and Obama was inevitable.

And so here we are now. The planets have collided and chunks of their surface are crumbling before our eyes. But we at ClintonForFirstGentleman.org believe the outcome will eventually benefit both sides.

Later down the road, don't be surprised if one sees these two great Democrats working side by side.

Anything is possible when the planets and moons align.

Hillary Clinton Officially Enters Race

According to HillaryClinton.com, we officially have a shot at bringing the Clintons back to the White House in 2008! This is terrific news.

In a world where fear has been used to exploit the public, a regime change in the Oval Office is long overdue.
